The leader of the EKGS Culinary Institute’s sugar arts class Madam Abena Dansoa has said her leadership will not tolerate any act of indiscipline or misconduct which has potential to undermine the good but impressive records which she want to leave behind.
However she is determined to provide a motherly leadership with openness which enable students to share ideas and experience.
The institute in conjunction with students elect students with high quality leadership skills to lead various classes for the six months course period.
She said this result could only be achieved through the observance of the school rules and regulations.
The class prefect said she is satisfied with the general behavior of her students as they consider her as their mother while she also sees them as a family with common aspiration.
Madam Dansoa told EKGS online net that there was an indication that the five months period will be successful as a result of love, perseverance and unity that prevailed in the class.
Concerning how she became the leader of the class the soft spoken class prefect hinted that when the news first came around that a class leader was going to be chosen she also had somebody to nominate but surprisingly it turned out that the students elected me to steer the affairs of the class.
She said being a mother has been a source of motivation which helped her to lead the class.
With regards to academic performance she said every student is doing her best to meet their desired objective.
